Breaking news! OpenAI launches API organization verification: No verification, no use of the latest model

OpenAI has just launched an important update - API Organization Verification . This is directly related to whether you can use OpenAI's top AI models and new features in the future.

OpenAI says it supports IDs from more than 200 countries and regions. If you want to know if your country/region is on the supported list, the most direct and accurate way is to start the verification process. The system will judge and prompt you based on your situation.

As for whether it is troublesome or not, OpenAI said:

• •  No financial threshold : Verification itself does not require you to have any spending records or pre-deposit fees
• •  Rate Limits : Please note that verification itself does not directly increase your API call rate limits. Increasing rate limits still depends on your usage and payment tier.
